One verification is one email address checked through the engine, whether you send it via the REST API, the JS widget, or a bulk CSV row. Cached repeat lookups of the same address inside a short window do not cost an extra credit. Syntax-only rejections that never reach the SMTP stage are free.

On a subscription, your included verifications reset at the start of each billing cycle, and unused credits roll over for one month. If you hit the limit mid-cycle, you can top up with a pay-as-you-go credit pack that never expires, or move up a tier. The API returns a clear quota response instead of silently failing, so nothing breaks in your integration.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, and yearly billing gives you two months free. Choose annual billing and unused monthly credits roll over one month. Credit packs are a one-time charge and the credits never expire. Every charge is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, so you get proper invoices and local tax handling. During the beta, billing is switched off and every plan is free while we finish Paddle verification.
